Kanab's Community local radio station, KWOT,
is giving away, during the 12 Days of Christmas,
gifts of cash, gift cards, checks, and bill pays of
up to $1,000 each to deserving families, veterans,and individuals who could use a helping hand. 

We need your help to nominate
deserving folks with needs like these: 
utility bills • medical expenses • winter coats & boots • urgent home repairs

groceries • rent/housing assistance • mobility aids • vehicle repairs • childcare needs
Nominations must be submitted on
the form below by November 29, 2025.

Here is what you need to know:
    • You cannot nominate yourself
    • Recipients must live in Kane county or Fredonia
    • Nominations must be submitted on the form below by Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025

Frequently Asked Questions

• Who is funding this endeavor?

The funds for this program are supplied by generous, community-minded, caring donors to KWOT.

 

• What kind of needs will be considered?

The nominee must have a legitimate need. We will look for responsible and deserving people who have

done everything they can to care for themselves, but unfortunate circumstances have put them at a

significant disadvantage. The gift amounts will range from $100 to $1,000. Smaller needs may have

a better chance of being selected.

 

• Who decides which nominees will be selected?

A small group associated with KWOT will read each submission and choose the individuals or families.

Submit only one nomination form. Any additional forms will not be considered.

 

• How will I know who is selected?

We will be announcing one gift award each day on KWOT 90.9 FM throughout the broadcasting day. Also, the selected recipients will be posted on our radio station website (KWOTFM.ORG) and announced in the local newspaper. (Recipients may request that their identity not be made public.)

• Can I help KWOT to benefit more people?

While we are not necessarily soliciting money donations from the community, any donation received will

go toward our next community outreach.
